“A strong personal brand is a mix of reputation, trust, attention and execution.”
— Chris Brogan

When it comes to building your personal brand, it is critical to elevate your reputation and build your value as an expert. Your headshots, candids, detail shots, lifestyle shots, actions hots, and product shots will all be used to help you share your brand and business with your audience in a powerful way.

With personal brand photography you can show many different aspects of yourself and your business by creating a visual brand identity, developed with your values and your brand aesthetics and colors in mind.

It is my number one goal to provide photos for you that will tell your authentic story while creating a deep connection with your audience.

What to Expect

I follow a strategic process that is simple, fun, intuitive, and highly effective. My team and I are dedicated to making sure that every aspect of your photography session meets the highest standards.

You will receive a strategy consultation, unlimited contact pre-photo session, 60-120 images per session, and a copyright release and commercial use license to edit, modify, and use the images for all of your marketing needs. Your library of high-end, digital images will be used for every area of your business – online funnels, speaker submissions, press releases, sales pages, your website and landing pages, advertising and marketing, business cards, email signatures, newsletters and e-blasts, mailers, social media, book covers, print marketing, team building, and more.

Our service is a collaboration of true professionals. My team and I provide a number of specialized, distinct advantages. Our process combines all of the elements that we believe are essential to visually showcase and elevate your brand. This includes professional men’s grooming a professional wardrobe stylist who will consult with you in person and even shop for you if you’d like, and brand strategy sessions to help determine all factors - location, wardrobe, brand colors, brand messaging, brand stories, props, etc.

The Process

We will start with a quick online questionnaire and then we will schedule an initial discovery call to get your photography session on the calendar and clarify what your needs and requests are.

Next, we will schedule a comprehensive strategy session and meeting with our wardrobe stylist. We will hash out ideas together and put together a specific plan of action.

On the day of your photography session you will arrive feeling fully prepared, knowing that we have everything taken care of. This is where all of our creative research and planning comes together to create your beautiful images!

A few weeks after your session you will receive an email with a link to your online viewing album that you can go through to choose your favorite images and make any edit or retouching requests.

Your final high resolution, digital images will be delivered to you via an online image transferring service, along with digital downloads from the online viewing album available for 90 days after delivery.

What is a Commercial License?

Providing a commercial license to our clients is a big deal.

A commercial license, copyright release, and a model release will allow you to use your images wherever you want, whenever you want, and for however long you want.

Personal brand photography is a sub-genre of commercial photography. It is actually a cross between lifestyle, portrait, retail, editorial, and commercial photography. So you receive multiple genres of photography to tell the stories behind you and your business, and you receive commercial photographs with unlimited usage rights and no usage fees!

I charge only for the time, expertise, and creative efforts of myself and my team.

On Location Photography

Location photos are one of the best ways to share the lifestyle and personality of your brand. You want to select locations that are meaningful to you and give your audience a behind-the-scenes peak at what you do and how you do it. This allows them to connect with you in a way that engages, elevates, and excites them with authenticity as well as imagination.

Brand Story Sessions

The best branding campaigns are rooted in great storytelling.

Apple became the king of consumer electronics through captivating stories. Steve Jobs gave legendary presentations, and a brilliant marketing campaign made the customer the star of Apple’s stories.

Behind every small business is always a story worth telling. If your personal brand isn’t telling a story, you’ve already lost half of your potential audience.

“If you don’t give the market the story to talk about, they’ll define your brand’s story for you.”
- David Brier

One of the best ways to inspire others is by sharing your own personal stories visually through photography and video.

Create visual stories around your brand that your audience can engage with and relate to. Personal brand photography is the art of using high-quality images to tell the story of your brand. These images and the stories they tell give your audience a more enjoyable brand experience with you.

By staging a photo story, we break out of portrait mode and take some truly candid-looking photos of you in your element. This is highly effective because you can envision how the story will play out, allowing you to plan use of the best props, location, and wardrobe for each particular story. This results in cohesive and engaging photographs for you to use throughout your marketing.

What should my visual
stories consist of?

The objective behind visual stories is to share with your audience a variety of authentic, captivating images that show who you are and what you do. This creates a high level of trust and feeling of connection.

Sneak peeks into your life and how your run your business is of huge interest to your audience.

Incorporating Props, Pets and People

The more unique you can get with your props, the better; be it a book or magazine, sunglasses, a cigar, tie clip, hat, etc.

It’s a great idea to include at least one prop that is significant to you in some way. It could be a family heirloom, picture, knick-knack, memorabilia, or a handmade gift from your child. Something that you don’t mind sharing because it helps your audience to feel more of a connection to you.

Including clients, partners, family, friends, pets, etc., to help tell your stories is a lot of fun as well!

Here are a few ideas of brand-cohesive props and people:

  • Food / Coffee / Tea / Juice / Smoothie

  • Laptop / Computer / Phone / Tablet

  • Journal / Book / Pen / Papers

  • Flowers / Balloons / Confetti

  • Car / Bike / Transport

  • Bag / Hat / Sunglasses / Scarf

  • Whatever items you use in your profession

  • Husband / Wife / Children
